e5 Instructional Model

 

ACEP's professional learning programs include references to the e5 Instructional Model and make connections to this approach to teaching and learning. Activities related to e5 are inculded in our Coaching and Peer Observation programs.


New e5 Master Class Program


ACEP in collaboration with the Bastow Institute of Educational Leadership is currently delivering a 3-day Master Class for school leaders. The program aims to strengthen participants' understanding of  the e5 Instructional Model and explore ways of leading conversations about tecaher practice. 

The Master Class curriculum covers the following topics:
  • Topic 1: The principles, theory and methodology underpinning the e5 Instructional Model
  • Topic 2: Facilitation skills to promote school-based learning on instructional practice
  • Topic 3: Finding the most appropriate ways of beginning and continuing the conversations about the e5 Instructional Model in various school contexts
  • Topic 4: How to integrate the e5 Instructional Model into the school performance and development culture processes
  • Topic 5: Introduction and trial of a range of professional learning strategies to lead conversations with individuals, teams and whole staff groups.



e5 Profeesional Leave and Teacher Outcomes Program 

In 2010 ACEP will be delivering the statewide Teacher Professional Leave PLATO Program to over 430 teachers who are undertaking research related to the e5 Instructional Model.
