Protocols

Kaye Fletcher has been conducting professional learning on Protocols since 2002. The ACEP program is designed to introduce a range of powerful team processes (called Protocols) which are used to encourage:
  •  Professional dialogue
  •  Active listening and questioning
  • Reflection and improved practices

Participants will trial a range of processes that draw on the expertise of colleagues to assist with:
  • more active participation in professional conversations
  • ways of giving effective feedback
  • developing strategies and options for current challenges
  • collaborative decision-making

The Protocols are designed to make effective use of meeting time to focus on particular issues, challenges and new ideas. They allow for equity of voice and engagement. The processes can be used with colleagues at the regular workplace and for meetings involving a diverse group of participants.

Testimonials from participants:

"I have found this day really useful and wish I had been given the opportunity to do this training a long time ago. I am looking forward to using Protocols in the near future."

"I found many of these protocols to be very useful and look forward to incorporating them in my role as a peer coach and also in my role as a pedagogical leader."
