The Professional Leave and Teacher Outcomes program (PLATO), conducted in partnership with DEECD, supports teachers to ensure that their Teacher Professional Leave (TPL) experience is successful. The ACEP team assists participants to structure an inquiry, reflect on their practice and measure its impact on student learning. Involvement in the PLATO program allows the development of valuable connections with participants across the state engaged in inquiries into teacher practice. The sharing of learning and resources is a key element of participation in this program.
These are the inquiry cycle resources that we spoke about during the PLATO workshops:
- Collaborative Teacher Inquiry (interactive resource)
- PLT Inquiry Cycle (inquiry cycle theory and examples by Grampians region)
We really love Darcy Moore's blog: Learning Technology Leadership. Here are a couple of blog posts that we thought you mind find interesting:
- The Best of Both Worlds: An Anecdote
- iBooks Author (an interesting read for teachers who use iPads in the classroom)
